A small neighborhood restaurant that has become known locally as "La Casa de Ropa Vieja." The chef makes a big pot of it daily and it even finds its way into a delicious Ropa Vieja sandwich. In fact, the sandwiches are great here -- the pan con lechón comes with plátanos maduros atop a delicious pile of succulent roast pork.

You can even skip the bread with the Cohibarito sandwich, available in several configurations of fillings sandwiched between two thinly sliced fried plantains!

Start your meal with a delicious, flaky empanada -- yes you can even get one stuffed with ropa vieja. And although the sandwiches are great here, don't pass up the many Cuban classics on their "Chef's Specialties" menu. A "Cohiba Platter" for the undecided and a home style picadillo are both stand outs.
